Hi Neighbors! Well, this afternoon, I loaded up my Honda Pilot with portable tables, high tops, coolers, a few extra chairs and boxes of paper plates, plastic cups and plastic cutlery, and dropped it all off over at Fred and Lynda Hathorn’s house at 335 St. George. It’s the eve of the OCS Fall Social, we’re almost ready, and tomorrow afternoon’s potluck is on, rain or shine!
If you’re new to the neighborhood, come on out and meet your new neighbors. If you’re a long time OCS resident, come on out to reconnect with old friends and to make some new acquaintances. And you don’t have to be a dues-paid member of OCSNA to attend. This is a neighborhood potluck. The more the merrier! We’ll provide the red and white wine, water, paper plates, cutlery etc. But we need you to provide the conversation and good cheer.
This is a potluck event, so please bring your favorite main dish, side or hors d’oeuvres. There is very limited parking, so if you’re physically able, please walk to Fred and Lynda’s house.
Fred and Lynda have a dance salon on their second floor, and they’ll open that for dancing at 5pm for anyone who would like to dance. Rumor also has it that neighbor Cynthia Keller (305 St. George) may be convinced to tickle the ivories for a bit on the Hathorn’s piano upstairs as well!
All in all, it looks to be a blast. See you there!
