Special Meeting about Sebastian Inland Harbor PUD

David Birchim will be our special guest for an OCSNA Q & A forum via Zoom on February 11 at 6pm concerning the Sebastian Inland Harbor PUD. The Sebastian Inland Harbor PUD will be a major development at the corner of Riberia and Sebastian Harbor Drive. As Riberia is a major entry and exit corridor for the Old City South and Lincolnville neighborhoods, commercial development along Riberia directly affects our neighborhood. The owners of the property zoned under this PUD are asking the City Commission to approve changes to the terms of their PUD on Monday, February 22. The purpose […]

2020 OCS Spring Neighborhood Meeting Cancelled

With the confirmation of the first St. Johns County COVID-19 case a couple of days ago, and after consulting with City Manager John Regan, the OCSNA board has decided to cancel our Spring Neighborhood Meeting, which was set for next Thursday evening, March 19 at the Corazon. As most of our attendees fall into the 60s – 80s year old population, which is most vulnerable if exposed to the virus, we feel that cancellation of the meeting is the most prudent course of action. We don’t want to endanger our friends and neighbors needlessly, especially when much of what we […]

It’s the eve of the OCS Fall Social, we’re almost ready, and tomorrow afternoon’s potluck is on, rain or shine! If you’re new to the neighborhood, come on out and meet your new neighbors. If you’re a long time OCS resident, come on out to reconnect with old friends and to make some new acquaintances. And you […]

Bios for the seven candidates who have volunteered to serve on the OCSNA board for 2019

Seven candidates have volunteered to serve on the Old City South Neighborhood Association. Here are short bios on each of the candidates: Gail Crocetta was born in upstate New York where she and her husband Pat lived and raised their 2 children. Gail graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and became a Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She managed vocational programs serving individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. With relatives in Palm Coast, Gail and Pat often visited St. Augustine and spent several years looking for a neighborhood in the city that felt comfortable. In December, […]

Tuesday – Two important things: Don’t forget to vote and PZB meeting will be at 2pm

This coming Tuesday (11/6) is going to be a full day. It’s election day, so don’t forget to vote! It’s also the November meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board, at which there is a request to change the zoning of 125 Marine Street from RS-1 to RL-1.
