With the confirmation of the first St. Johns County COVID-19 case a couple of days ago, and after consulting with City Manager John Regan, the OCSNA board has decided to cancel our Spring Neighborhood Meeting, which was set for next Thursday evening, March 19 at the Corazon. As most of our attendees fall into the 60s – 80s year old population, which is most vulnerable if exposed to the virus, we feel that cancellation of the meeting is the most prudent course of action. We don’t want to endanger our friends and neighbors needlessly, especially when much of what we would be covering can be done remotely and via email..
If you are an OCSNA full membership household and have not yet voted on line in the Board and Bylaws Change election, please do so. The election will remain open on Survey Monkey until noon on Thursday, March 19. If you can’t find the email with the link to the online election, let me know and I will work to send you a new link. Meanwhile, we’ll be sending out to you via emails materials that we would normally cover in the meeting. There are a few procedural votes that need to be taken as well, and I will set up online votes via Survey Monkey to handle those votes remotely.
